At Christ Community Church we are committed to nurturing the faith of every member, no matter their age. Sometimes, that looks like interactive worship services where we learn and practice together. Sometimes, that looks like learning with people our own age.
We have a "Pray-ground" space in the Sanctuary for parents with younger children who like to stay together during the service. We also have a nursery downstairs we refer to as "Tiny Treasures" for ages 0-3.
For preschoolers (ages 3-5) we offer Sunday school through our "Little Wonders" group. After being dismissed from worship, they meet for story, craft and snack each week.
During the first three Sundays of school months, children worship with us for part of the service then spend time in age appropriate learning groups. Our school aged groups use DWELL Curriculum which "leaves space for open-ended wondering questions, allowing the Holy Spirit to work as kids discover truth through exploration at every grade level. They become immersed in God’s story instead of merely learning facts, morals, and principles. They’ll learn to find their place in God’s ongoing mission of renewal and redemption."
Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour
For girls in grades 2 - 7
Meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays, September through May
(sometimes a special activity on a 5th Thursday)
6:30 - 8:00 pm
GEMS is a relationship building program for girls. The primary purpose of the club is to help bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus. We do this while we sing songs, play games, have devotions and Bible lessons, make crafts and get to know each other.
Boys Club meets once a month, on the 2nd Thursday from 6:30 to 8 PM. (The Club hopes to meet twice a month in the New Year). It is open to boys ages 5 to 12.
During their meetings, boys and male leaders study the Bible, learn life and outdoor skills, play games and build relationships with one another.
