because faith needs to be nurtured at every age

The CCC community is dedicated to following Jesus at every age. Along with serving with our skills, sharing our resources to support ministry, and gathering as the worshipping community, we commit ourselves to the continual transformation of the Holy Spirit as disciples of Jesus Christ.

New this fall!

Dig in

We are inviting you to join a group that will dig in to the Feasting on the Word curriculum, a study that follows the lectionary Bible texts. Pastor Chelsey and Pastor Kelli will be preaching on a text on Sunday and this will be the focus of the Bible study throughout the week in each of the groups. We currently have 7 groups that meet throughout the week, as well as 2 Sunday School classes that use this material on Sunday morning.

Leader materials and participant questions are provided. It is available to ages Kindergarten to adult.

For more information about when groups meet contact the office.

Centering PRayer Group

This drop-in group meets in the sanctuary to practice centering prayer in silence on Mondays from 12:30-1 PM. By being silent in prayer, we seek to focus solely on God with undivided attention.

When else does that happen in our lives?

You don't need to know what you are doing to come; there will be instructions given at the opening of every prayer time.

If you have any questions, contact Pastor Chelsey.

men's & women's breakfast

Throughout the year (with a break over the summer) men gather for breakfast on the first Saturday at 8 AM to listen to a guest speaker and conversation with one another. Women do similarly on the third Saturday of the month at 9 AM. Each meet at ABC Country Restaurant North.

Men's Breakfast ~ December 7 ~ 8:00-9:30am

Thank you to Pastor Andrew Turkstra for being our guest speaker at our December 7th meeting. He will be updating the men on his 2019 season on his CCC Local Ministry.....that being the Nanaimo Business Chaplaincy. This ministry as most of you know is combined with his Fishing Charter business. A good turnout of CCC men and friends is hoped for at this time of monthly Christian mens fellowship, a guest speaker, and a tasty breakfast. Hope to see you Saturday the 7th. God is good. BYOB.
